*The Opportunity*: The Club Accounting Associate plays a pivotal role in managing financial operations within our club.
They will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial management.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong grasp of accounting principles and a commitment to maintaining the club's financial integrity.
*Duties & Functions:* · Entry of Accounts Payable Invoices · Audit and Review Edit Listing of Accounts Payable for Accuracy · Receive all mail and invoices daily and distribute to the appropriate Department Manager for coding and approval.
Ensure all invoices are returned on a timely basis (24 hours) and approved by the Department Manager, Club Controller and/or the General Manager.
· Prepare and distribute checks at the direction of the Accounts Payable Manager.
· Maintain Accurate Vendor Files · Perform Vendor Account Reconciliation/Statement Review · Handle Vendor Inquires and Concerns · Ensure member/guest satisfaction by responding quickly and professionally to all inquiries · Advise management of any suggestions that may make the facility a better, more efficient operation.
· Implement all departmental policies and procedures as set forth by the Club.
*Qualification Standards:* · High school diploma required.
College preferred.
· Experience: 1 year in an accounting environment · Ability to read, comprehend, carry out instruction.
· Ability to work effectively with others, ability to take direction, carry out written and oral instructions and to work with a minimum of supervision.
· Computer literate, with a high emphasis on Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, PaperSave, and Jonas a plus.
· Able to carry out written and oral instructions, compose correspondence with a minimum of guidance and to work without supervision.
